a few months back I made the decision to switch my wordpress.com blog to a self hosted one.
I already had a domain janezworld.com
It took me a while to get my head around the advantages.
I worried about possible problems.
I had a long list of questions.
Finally I decided.
My personal help-desk loaded it for me & then I was good to go.
Well, not quite.
I couldn’t decide on a name. But that’s another post.
Then I came face to face with plugins.
I could not even understand the term, let alone how they worked.
How was I to get them from where they were to where I needed them?
This question was like a brick wall for me.
I developed headaches trying to understand it.
I’m one of those people who need to understand the why not just the how.
I became overwhelmed by it all.
So I stopped.
I turned away from the new blog; returning to the old one.
